Frankrijk Deze
documentatie heeft betrekking op de ontwikkeling van tram en Light Rail
in Frankrijk. Dit land is behalve stedebouwkundig zeker ook puur vervoerskundig
interessant. De afgelopen 20 jaar is het openbaar vervoer in dit land
op voortvarende wijze verbeterd en uitgebouwd. De introductie van trams
in de steden vervult binnen deze ontwikkeling een sleutelpositie. Ondanks
culturele en bestuurlijke verschillen met Nederland, blijft Frankrijk
van belang als studieobject. Wie door Strasbourg loopt en daar de trams
ziet rijden kan niet geloven dat deze stad qua omvang en structuur nagenoeg
identiek aan Utrecht is. Dat feit alleen al, rechtvaardigt ruimschoots
